Pentaho and Hitachi Welcome Big Data Experts Inquidia

With nearly half of all large enterprises investing in big data projects, the pressure is now on to gain the highest returns possible. The greatest obstacle many companies face is recruiting and retaining scarce big data talent.

That’s why today we’re delighted to announce that the employees of our long-standing implementation partner Inquidia will be joining Pentaho. Effective immediately, Inquidia’s team of 20 big data experts will join Pentaho’s growing family.

The benefit to Pentaho customers couldn’t be clearer: skills and experience to bring ambitious big data and IoT projects to life and deliver the outcomes that all your stakeholders, from board members to business users, are expecting. Inquidia’s team of experts provide everything from full-spectrum business analytic services, to planning modernized data architectures, to implementing big data solutions in Hadoop, to making predictions using the latest data science techniques.

The Inquidia team will continue to support customers out of its Chicago office on 318 West Adams Street. Inquidia founder Steve Miller is retiring but has agreed to continue working with us for the next few years in an advisory role. The rest of the team, including many familiar rock stars like Dave Reinke, Kevin Haas and Bryan Senseman, will join the professional services team at Pentaho.

As part of Hitachi, we’re setting our sights on leading the market in IoT solutions and Social Innovation. The expanded Pentaho professional services team will support that goal in the way it knows best: by bringing big data and IoT projects to life and delivering exceptional value to customers.

Welcome Inquidia team to the Pentaho and Hitachi family!
